Sorry I haven't updated this lately as several of you have kindly reminded me. Its because I'm swamped with dissertations and dogs (the deadly double d's). I feel sort of like this:

I was reading an article in the New Yorker last night about profiling and the banning of pit bulls. They quoted the head of the American Kennel Club saying that he had heard of almost every breed of dog being involved in serious attacks on humans, with the exception of beagles and basset hounds. But if they changed that to 'serious attacks on squeeky toys' well, that would be another matter.
